New Adidas x Moomin collection featuring wintry Moomintroll

A new adidas Originals x Moomin collection is out! The second collection by this partnership combines iconic adidas references and the charm of the adventurous Moomintroll. The collection includes a T-shirt, a fleece vest, a fluffy waist bag, socks, and comfy sweatshirts and pants. Available in selected countries now!

The new collection, designed for autumn and winter, pays tribute to the adventurous spirit of the Moomins, featuring illustrations of a wintry Moomintroll from Tove Jansson’s comic Moomin’s Winter Follies first published in 1955.

The cosy sets of sweatshirts and pants are pure comfort! The relaxed fit, available in grey and burgundy red, together with a vintage-looking embroidery of the skating (or slipping!) Moomintroll create a timeless look.

 

The adidas Originals x Moomin tee features a back graphic of Moomintroll trying his hand at ice skating, with a banner detailing adidas’ time-honoured heritage finishing off the look.

WARM AND FUZZY FEELINGS

The fleece jacket’s silhouette takes notes from the iconic adidas Firebird tracksuit with a special embroided snowflake and Moomintroll on the sleeve.

The collection also includes a waist bag made of fleece with a fuzzy upper, the unique bag mirrors the playfulness of Moomintroll – this time, skiing.

 

With cosy appeal, the full-zip vest is made of soft polar fleece and has zip pockets to make sure daily necessities stay close. Similarly to the fuzzy waist bag, the vest features Moomintroll’s attempt at skiing as part of Moominvalley’s winter games.

The first Moomin collection by adidas included apparel, footwear, and accessories for kids, youth, and women. Discover all the pieces, each featuring an endearing illustration or a subtle reference to the beloved childhood classics. What was the first time you saw a Moomin?

Among the products designed for this first-ever collaboration, there are some fun sneakers. The classic Stan Smith shoes were given a Moominous makeover, with Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden outlines present on the tongue and the back of each shoe.

From Superstar to Nizza High

The collaboration saw the Moomins also arrive on the adidas Superstar and adidas Superstar 360 for toddlers and kids, and adidas Nizza High, adidas Adilette and adidas Hyperturf shoes for women.

Something for everyone

This playful collection has something for everyone. One of the highlights is a beautifully embroidered baseball cap emblazoned with a Moomin motif, but if you prefer more subtle colours and motifs, you will surely find something to your liking. The full range of the collection includes:

This infants’ adidas x Moomin shorts and t-shirt set is infused with lovability and an adventurous spirit. The top features Moomintroll and Snufkin camping cosily, while the shorts show Moomintroll setting out on an adventure. Classic 3-Stripes on both pieces add an authentic adidas signature.

The collection includes kids’ adidas Superstar 360 x Moomin Shoes that bring that same sentiment with a colourful design showing Moomintroll out and about on an adventure. The slip-on construction with a stretchy mesh upper creates a sock-like feel so kids can move with comfort.
