The film Escape from Moominvalley at the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA)

The film Escape from Moominvalley (2014) is shown three times in Montreal, Canada at the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA)! The documentary film focuses on Tove Jansson´s productive work as a visual artist which she carried out at the same time as her writing. The film shows us Tove Jansson´s life outside the Moomins and the struggle to gain public as a painter. The film was made by a Finnish filmmaker, Charlotte Airas.

The film will be shown at Grande Bibliothèque de BAnQ – Auditorium on March 21st and 27th at 18.30 and also at Université Concordia – Cinéma J.A. DeSève on March 29th at 13.30.
