Den Nationale Scene (The National Stage) in Bergen, Norway has created the play Mummitroll i kulissene. Watch the teaser below:
The Norwegian play is based on the play Troll i kulisserna presented at the Lilla Teatern in Finland (1958). Troll i kulisserna was based on Tove Jansson’s fifth Moomin book Farlig midsommar (1954, eng. Moominsummer Madness), which was perfect for a stage adaption as it is about the Moomin family escaping a flood and finding shelter at the theatre.
