More than 20 000 ‘Muumiperheen lauluretki’ children’s albums have been sold in Finland!
The book and CD in Finnish were released in 2014 by Tammi. All the songs are based on the original Moomin stories by Tove Jansson, beautifully written and composed by Hannele Huovi and Soili Perkiö. The songs tell about a journey the Moomin family makes through Moominvalley. Little My even raps on one of the tracks!
The book has been illustrated by Riina ja Sami Kaarla and it also contains the notes if you want to play the songs yourself.
‘Muumiperheen lauluretki’ won also a Finnish Emma Award for Best Children’s Album in 2014.
