Why is it important to limit the volume?

Just as construction workers protect their ears with earplugs, onanoff created BuddyPhones to protect little music-lovers. Exposure to the max volume of a standard player is at around 105 dB, which is proven to be damaging and can cause adverse long-term effects such as ear infections and hearing loss. The built-in volume-limiting BuddyPhones keep sound pressure below 85 dB, which is the level recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Health Institute of America.

Aren’t these great choice for a Christmas present for the children?
