The new Moomin Museum in Tampere opened in May 2017 with approximately three times more space than the previous premises.
In 1986, Tove Jansson donated a collection of more than 2000 works to the Tampere Art Museum, and part of the collection has been on display in Tampere Art Museum Moominvalley. Tove Jansson’s unique collection will be presented in a modern, experiential, and multisensory way in the world’s only Moomin Museum.
