Moomins want to live in harmony with nature, and so do we. The Baltic Sea inspired Tove Jansson to create the Moomin stories. Nowadays the Baltic Sea is one of the most polluted seas in the world, and its most serious environmental issue is eutrophication. The aim of the #OURSEA campaign is to raise awareness of the condition of the Baltic Sea and gather funds for John Nurminen Foundation’s work to protect the sea and its vibrant culture.
The well-liked Moomin logo bag is made of 100% recycled material and of high, durable quality that can carry some a bit heavier belongings as well. The delightful and bold design of the bag derives from the Moomin creator’s own handprint: the official MOOMIN font in the Moomin logo was designed based on Tove Jansson’s handwriting she used in her early Moomin comic strips.
