We are pleased to announce that the Moomins have been nominated for the honor of “The Classic Licensed Property Award” at The Licensing Awards, which will take place in London on September 13th 2016. The category is for properties that are over 10 years old. The winning property will enter the Classic Hall of Fame and join previous winners; The Beano in 2013, Mickey Mouse in 2012 and Star Wars in 2011.
The Licensing Awards are known as accolades to strive for and their integrity is unquestioned as an endorsement of excellence. The Licensing Awards are owned and organized by The Licensing Source Book (published by Max Publishing). The Moomins face some stiff competition in the category, but we can think of no license more worthy of joining the Classic Hall of Fame and keep our fingers crossed for the Moomins to win the award!
