Moomins featured at the ‘100 objects from Finland’ exhibition

100 Objects from Finland exhibition illustrates 100-year-old Finland by presenting one object per each year of independence. 100 Objects from Finland tells about Finland and being Finnish through innovative and humorous examples.  The objects are Made in Finland and Designed in Finland, but above all, they present the Life in Finland.

Moomins are featured on 1956: The Moomins made by Atelier Fauni. Read more about the dolls from the exhibition page.

The site is translated into 13 languages – Finnish / Swedish / English / Estonian / Norwegian / Spanish / French / Latvian / Magyar / Russian / Dutch / Arabic / Japanese.

The 100 objects will tour from Helsinki to Tallinn, Oslo, Madrid and Riga through the network of Finnish cultural and science institutes.

Helsinki from 23 March to 28 May 2017
Tallinn from 10 June to 20 August 2017
Oslo from 7 September to 30 October 2017
Madrid from 18 November to 14 January 2018
Riga from 3 February to 15 April 2018

The exhibition is produced by the Finnish Institute in Estonia.
