Oh yes, we have the new Moomin summer mug by Arabia, Sailing with Nibling and Tooticky, and it’s a stunner. It features the whole Moomin family sailing together with Nibling and Too-Ticky and it was designed by Tove Slotte-Elevant. We also have the accompanying bowl with the same lovely illustration.
The inspiration for the Sailing with Nibling and Tooticky mug comes from the comic “Moomin under sail” (Mumin till sjöss/Muumipeikko merillä) which was created by Tove and Lars Jansson in 1959.
The comic strip was originally published in London’s The Evening News and it can now be found in Moomin Book Five: The Complete Tove Jansson Comic Strip.
