Tove Jansson exhibition at Dulwich Picture Gallery
The exhibition at Dulwich Picture Gallery in London, England, covers all the periods in Tove Jansson’s productive career, including her surrealistic paintings of the 1930s, modernist art of the 1950s and more abstract works in the 1960s and ‘70s, as well as her satirical anti-war illustrations for the magazine Garm, her monumental paintings for public spaces, and of course Moomin characters and stories.
The exhibition is open until January 28, 2018.

Moomin Original Artworks Exhibition
The exhibition features Tove Jansson’s original artworks – few of them never exhibited elsewhere before. Also, a wide range of Tove’s brother’s Lars Jansson’s Moomin comic strips will be presented in the touring exhibition in Korea.
In September 2017 the tour started from the Seoul Art Center and is now being displayed at Daegu MBC TV Exhibition Hall until 1st of April, 2018. During the spring and summer 2018 the exhibition will be showcased also at Busan City Gallery and Sungsan Art Hall, Changwon City.
‘Moomin and the Magician’s Hat’ ballet
Moomin and his friends took to the ballet stage some years ago, and in spring 2018 the Finnish National Ballet will be staging a brand-new Moomin ballet! Kenneth Greve’s choreography to music by Tuomas Kantelinen is based on the novel Finn Family Moomintroll by Tove Jansson. Performances in Helsinki, Finland between January 23rd and February 2nd.

Summer Book play at Lilla Teatern, Helsinki
Tove Jansson’s beloved Summer book will be seen at theatre stage by Lilla Teatern. The performances in Helsinki, Finland will be in Swedish starting from 31st January.
Moominworld Winter Magic
The Moomin family has woken up in the middle of their winter hibernation, and they are excited by the ice and the snow and the biting air. Together with their guests, the Moomin family comes up with all kinds of fun winter activities. You are welcome to join them for a fun day of rosy cheeks! Winter Magic at Moominworld in Naantali, Finland will be open February 17–25, at 10am – 4pm.
Tove Jansson exhibition ‘Tove and the Sea’
Tove and the Sea exhibition at Söderskär Lighthouse was opened in June, 2017 presenting illustrations never exhibited before. The exhibition with rare photos and logbooks will continue at Söderskär Lighthouse also in summer 2018.
