Tove Jansson, the creator of the Moomins, was very involved in children’s education around the world and worked with Unicef to further the cause.
We wanted to highlight the International Literacy Day by donating 10% of all our sales September 8-9th to Unicef and their work with helping children in need to get an education.
We were also offering all Moomin.com customers 20 % off on all books and mugs during these two days.
