To celebrate the centenary of Finland’s independence, a Finland100 event will be organized in Oslo, Norway on September 7-10th 2017.
At the Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology, you’ll find several Moomin activities for the whole family!
Moomins featured at the ‘100 objects from Finland’ exhibition
September 8th – October 29th
100 Objects from Finland exhibition illustrates 100-year-old Finland by presenting one object per each year of independence. 100 Objects from Finland tells about Finland and being Finnish through innovative and humorous examples. The objects are Made in Finland and Designed in Finland, but above all, they present the Life in Finland.
Moomins are featured on 1956: The Moomins made by Atelier Fauni. You can read more about the dolls from the exhibition page.
The 100 objects have toured already from Helsinki to Tallinn, and after Oslo the exhibition will continue to Madrid and Riga through the network of Finnish cultural and science institutes.
