The new Finnish ambassador Jukka Siukosaari, and members of the Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Japan visited Hanno city to discuss and further improve the good relationship between Finland and Hanno city, and to gain mutual development through the ongoing Metsä Project. The President of FCCJ Mr. Pekka Laitinen, Mr. Siukosaari, the Mayor of Hanno city Mr. Masaru Okubo, and the CEO of Moomin Monogatari Mr. Robert Hirst spoke at the meeting.
After the meeting the participants also visited the theme park site at the Miyazawa lake. This was the ambassador’s first trip out of Tokyo since he arrived in Japan two weeks earlier. The visitors enjoyed the the walk around the park and the Mr Siukosaari thought the place to be perfect for relaxing.
