The gorgeous Moomin pop-up store is designed and executed together with the Moomin licensees Arabia, Fazer, and Finlayson and it will serve customers until the end of August.

Tove Jansson gallery at HAM, Helsinki Art Museum:

Finland’s first permanent gallery dedicated to the art of Tove Jansson showcases works related to the life of Finland’s most internationally renowned artist of many talents. The exhibition presents, for example, two of Tove Jansson’s most important works, the frescos Party in the City and Party in the Countryside, as well as the sketches made for the murals in the Aurora Children’s Hospital.

‘Moomins at the theatre’ exhibition at Theatre Museum:

The exhibition ‘Moomins at the theatre’ is about theatre performances of Moomins as well as Tove Jansson’s other theatre works. Exhibition in Helsinki will be open until 17th September.

The beautiful sculptures of Tove Jansson:

Discover Helsinki with all the lovely sculptures by Tove Jansson‘s father Viktor Jansson. Tove has acted as a model for several sculptures in the centre of Helsinki.

Tove Jansson Park:

The park of Tove Jansson’s childhood scenery was renamed after her in 2014, marking her 100th birthday. The Jansson family lived just a stone’s throw away from the park, at Luotsikatu 4, in the years 1914-1933. Passersby can spot the building by a commemorative plaque on the wall of the building.

‘Tove and the Sea’ exhibition at Söderskär Lighthouse:

‘Tove and the Sea’ exhibition at Söderskär Lighthouse in the Porvoo Archipelago presents illustrations never exhibited before. The exhibition is showcasing photographs of Tove Jansson’s life in the archipelago, as well as illustrations from the book Moominpappa at sea. For the first time ever, the exhibition also introduces several amazing illustrations from the logbooks Tove illustrated in her youth. Read more about the exhibition by clicking here.
